The position entails managing a variety of communication tasks, including writing content for different platforms, handling social media accounts, and coordinating events. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Write content for the website, press releases, newsletters, and social media to promote the organization's mission and activities• Implement light SEO strategies to increase the visibility of the organization's online content• Manage social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter), including creating and editing posts and photos• Utilize Canva for creating engaging graphics for social media and other platforms• Take, edit, and post photos as needed, familiarity with Photoshop will be advantageous• Edit videos using Magisto or similar software• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders• Coordinate and attend events and fundraisers, demonstrating an engaging and kind demeanor• Manage office work including checking emails and maintaining organization until a full-time person is hired.• Collaborate with a Designer, an alum, who will be part of the team.
